Testimony – Onu Emmanuel
I am Onu Emmanuel, a participant of the MTN Foundation ICT and Business Skills Training, Track 2B, on Leveraging Data for Business Growth. This training has been a great eye-opener for me, especially as an agribusiness owner involved in groundnut, maize, and rice farming.
Through this program, I learned how to collect, organize, and analyze data to make better business decisions. I now understand how data can help me track costs, monitor sales, manage inventory, and identify profitable seasons and locations. The training has improved my ability to use digital tools and basic data analysis to plan production, reduce waste, and increase profitability in my farming business.
Most importantly, the program has changed my mindset—from running my business by guesswork to running it with data-driven insights. I am confident that the knowledge and skills gained will help me grow my agribusiness sustainably and compete better in today’s digital economy.
I sincerely appreciate the MTN Foundation, Dr. Folarin and Commander general (Favour Commander) our class or team manager for this impactful opportunity and for empowering entrepreneurs like me with relevant ICT and business skills.
