The MTN Foundation Virtual Assistant training has been a very comprehensive, practical, and life-changing learning experience for me. Throughout the course, I have learned the core responsibilities of a professional Virtual Assistant and how to apply them in real-world work environments. I gained hands-on knowledge of task and project management using tools like Trello, where I learned how to create boards, lists, and cards to track tasks, deadlines, and client projects effectively.

I also learned calendar and email management, including scheduling meetings, setting reminders, and organizing emails professionally. In addition, the training exposed me to client onboarding processes, where I learned how to create onboarding forms using Google Forms, store and manage client data in Google Sheets, and automate workflows with Zapier to save time and reduce manual work.

Furthermore, I learned social media management, including content planning, caption writing, and scheduling posts using platforms like Buffer and other social media tools. I developed my design skills using Canva to create professional graphics, flyers, and branded content. The training also covered content creation and AI tools, where I learned how to use ChatGPT for content ideas, email drafts, social media captions, and administrative support.

Another important area I learned is invoicing and basic bookkeeping, including how to create invoices, track payments, and manage simple financial records for clients. I also learned how to write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manage files using Google Drive, and collaborate effectively with clients and teams using cloud-based tools.

Additionally, the program taught me LinkedIn optimization, personal branding, client communication, professionalism, time management, and work ethics required to succeed as a Virtual Assistant. These skills have greatly improved my confidence, organization, and readiness to work with clients both locally and internationally.

I sincerely appreciate our facilitator ( Dr. Loise) for delivering the training in a clear, practical, and engaging manner, making even complex tools easy to understand. I am also very grateful to our CM (Mrs. Fadare cece) for her dedication, constant support, and encouragement throughout the program. Her guidance played a huge role in keeping us motivated and on track.

Finally, I deeply appreciate the MTN Foundation for this incredible opportunity and for investing in the growth and empowerment of young people through digital skills training. This program has truly equipped me with valuable skills that will positively impact my career and future opportunities.

Thank you once again for everything.
