From the masterclasses, what stood out for me was knowing where my business belonged in MSME categories, based on turnover and employee size. Understanding exactly where my business falls whether as a nano enterprise, or micro enterprise etc. Because it is the first step to applying for the right kind of funding. I can’t apply for small enterprise loans if my business fits micro, so this clarity saves me time and rejection. The masterclass also taught me how to position my business in a professional manner to qualify for funding program to scale up my business and grow bigger and better.

The ICT & business skills program as a whole has helped me to look at my business behind the product, it has shifted my mindset from seeing my business as just a side hustle to viewing it as a structured entity. And this knowledge has pushed me to organise my books and business operations so that I am Investor – ready not just customer – ready.
As an economics student, I’ve always understood the markets In theory but this program has bridged the gap to practice. I now understand how to leverage data and position my business in a more structured manner. The training hasn’t just taught me how to sell, it has thought me how to grow and I’m really grateful to MTN foundation and the Learning core company for impacting such profound knowledge and skills in me. It has really been rewarding and I hope to make them proud as a product of this training.
